About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Senior Sales Manager with a strong
background in digital marketing agency sales. The ideal candidate will take complete
ownership of the sales lifecycle — from lead generation to client acquisition and long-term
relationship management.
This role requires a professional who understands the digital marketing ecosystem, is
confident in engaging with senior stakeholders, and is capable of driving consistent revenue
growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
● Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals,
and strategic partnerships.
● Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
● Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and closures.
Sales & Client Acquisition
● Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and propose suitable digital
marketing solutions.
● Lead negotiations and close high-value retainers across services such as:
- Performance Marketing
- Lead Generation
- SEO
- Social Media Marketing
- Influencer Marketing
- Pitching & Presentations
● Create professional pitch decks, proposals, and presentations tailored to client
objectives.
● Confidently present solutions to founders, CMOs, and senior decision-makers.
● Handle objections effectively and guide prospects through the decision-making
process.
Client Relationship Management
● Act as a key point of contact for sales-driven accounts during the onboarding phase.
● Ensure smooth handover to the delivery team while maintaining client confidence.
● Build long-term relationships focused on retention and account growth.
Experience & Qualifications
● Minimum 7 years of experience in sales within a digital marketing agency.
● Proven track record of closing deals in:
- Performance Marketing
- Lead Generation
- SEO & Social Media Marketing
- Influencer Marketing
● Experience selling service-based solutions is mandatory.
Required Skills & Competencies
● Strong understanding of the digital marketing and agency ecosystem.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
